Here’s another neat one. Bidder places a bid that is more than previous bidder. S/he wins the item. Two days later, s/he posts a nice feedback saying how nicely shipped the item, etc. Problem is ... buyer never paid and item has not been shipped. So, I am out a legitimate sale, and have to go through eBay’s resolution nonsense to get fees back etc.

Ebay has become a bunch of scoundrels, and they won’t allow us to warn others...

I'm sorry that you were insulted, I was trying to help you to figure out why it happened so that it didn't happen again. That is the most common reason why that would happen...perhaps there are others but I'm not familiar with them.

But no worries, I won't make that mistake again.

There is a note on one of the eBay pages that states something like the sale was unsuccessful as there was a failure in the payment. I just sold another item a couple of days ago, and the payment was made to my PayPal account immediately.

If I wasn’t so quick in my stupid feedback (since removed), the original buyer may have been more receptive to my offer to complete the sale. I can’t imagine the hassle he will have to go through to find out where his money went and get it back.
