Auto detect finding the wrong country

Hi
I have just created a new account. I am trying to post something to sell and eBay is saying that I’m in the US when I’m in Canada. It won’t let me put in my address because it is a Canadian address.
I’ve tried to manually change the country then put my phone number in and it wants me to either sign in or continue as a guest.
Currently I cannot do anything with this new account.....help

I’m not sure what happened but according to your profile page you did sign up as a US resident. https://www.ebay.ca/fdbk/feedback_profile/kesm_1090?filter=feedback_page:All

It might be easiest to just sign up for another account and make sure that you are on .ca when you do so.  You would have to use a different email account with the new ID.

Hi @pjcdn2005 I've been up and down all over today and can't find anything that is necessarily simpler than that. If you have a physical address in Canada and change your registered address, you could contact Customer Support and request they change the site id of the original account to be Canadian. That takes some time and some finagling. If there's not something large at stake (a lot of feedback, active purchases, etc) I think it may be easier to open a new account. But that's just me, I'm lazy. 😛

Is it possible that when you sign in you've signed into eBay dot com vs eBay dot ca? That may be what's causing your issues.
