I joined eBay while I was living in England many years ago. When I moved to Canada, I changed all my address details. My account however still shows in British pounds. Do I have to close the account and start again for Canadian dollars to show in my account?
I have 64 positive feedbacks, and haven't sold since moving to Canada (a few years). I wish to start selling again.
Are you referring to your selling account? If so, you have to change your billing currency.

Or are you saying that when you look at items in search you are seeing them in pounds rather than C$?
Or...none of the above? 🙂
Thanks for replying. My selling account. When I tried to change the billing currency, my only two options were Euros and US Dollars. Canadian Dollars was not an option. That suggested that my account was still in the UK. So I phoned Ebay and they manually added Canadian Dollars to my options. So I believe that all is good now. However, 2 days later, I received a promotion message that was in UK pounds. I list a few items and see the results.
Do you still have a bank account in Britain?
You can add it to your PP account and put any transactions that are in pounds in there.
We have a US account (not a Canadian bank account in US dollars, an account in a US bank) and find it useful since more than half our listings are on dotCOM and in USD.
