Listing only offers letter postage

When I list an item on eBay.ca, I enter weight as 240g size as 8x8x2
But on asking for the calculation it only offers the letter service with a max 50g. What about parcel services etc.?

I've never used ebay's calculator for lettermail.

Oversize lettermail has a maximum weight of 500g and 2cm thickness. No tracking or insurance.

Oversize stamp rates for Canada for 2019 and 2020 (taxes extra)

001-100g .. 1.90 .. 1.94
101-200g .. 3.12 .. 3.19
201-300g .. 4.34 .. 4.44
301-400g .. 4.98 .. 5.09
401-500g .. 5.35 .. 5.47

Those dimensions are below the minimums allowed for parcel services. Try 14 X 9.
The minimum requirements vary by service and domestic versus foreign too.

Measurements may be before but the weight is not. eBay selects lettermail and then says 50g max

Try using only METRIC measurements.

Canada Post went metric in 1974 and since then every other measurement is at best an approximation and at worst wrong.

An item two inches thick cannot travel by Letter Post.  The maximum is two centimetres.

If you were using cm, use a larger envelope, perhaps a #8 or a #10.  Given the weight, you might want to use a bubble, Tyvek, or poly envelope.
