Our local News here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada has just completed a story about the Long delays in shipping from China... There investigations say,, parcels take 5 days shipping from China to Canada and then,,,,, sit in Canada for months...... I am experiencing this... Does ANYONE Know who I should be complaining to.... Who in Government or Canada Post .... I am Canadian,,,, and Demand MY Country's Postal Service works properly.....

I have never shipped any items on ebay and the shipping and handling part is really confusing me. When im posting an ad what is the best form of shipping i should post, flat or calculated? I know it may depend on how i want to deal with the shipping but say i want the buyer to pay for shipping, how do i figure out what the cost of it is going to be.

I don't believe it is an issue with Chinese suppliers. Never used to have a problem, now it is hopeless. If it was one supplier, I would be suspicious as to whether the items were shipped, but these are all different sellers. In April I received two packages ordered last November; that's five months. I now have three orders from January and seven from February that I am waiting for. Because it is taking so long, I am not requesting a refund. eBay should recognize the shipping delays and give us longer than 60 days to request refunds and leave feedback. I am sure not ordering a two dollar item from the States and paying $40.00 shipping. I guess my days with eBay are limited and I don't purchase from sellers who use global.

The shipping calculator both as an estimator tool and also as Calculated postage on a listing is reflecting no value or even the existence of said option for Canada Post Xpresspost this morning. Does anyone have information about this?

Ok. I know a similar question has been asked many times before but really, how to deal with the outrageous shipping rates by Canada post that are nothing short of highway robbery? Just shipped an item that barely weighed more than 300 grams to Alberta (from BC) and was shocked when they told me the shipping cost was $13. That's like 40% of what I sold the item for (offered free shipping). So, after all fees I ended up making a net profit of $10 on the $35 sale !!! So, what if I sell something a lot heavier? How can we make any money with these outrageous rates? I thought about going to the US to ship -since I'm only about 15 minutes from the border- but the US customs told me I'd have to pay like $10 if I bring stuff with me with the intent to ship it from there. So yeah, how the hell can we make any money here?

I did, however, find a shipping calculator for Canada Post that had rates from 2013 and the link to UPS which isn't super helpful. Also, anyone with insight to share on using FedEx through ebay...? i ordered a portable charger and after the payment was sent it gave me a tracking number starting with PK. It's been 35 days and still no package...Is this just fake tracking info? cant seem to find a site that will accept the code. thank you a ton, i'm really new to ebay and this is my first larger purchase (I usually spend a couple bucks on things)

does anyone know how to leave feedback to ebay about the global shipping program? I go to the contact page for ebay and there is only a phone icon to click on to phone them, I want to leave so information such as screen shots to show how bad the real time tracking is on this program. does anyone know how or if I can do this? or if there is a way to weed out sellers that use this program? its absolutely the worst I have dealt with in all my years on ebay. Trying to print a Canada Post label but I received this error Shipping insurance is not available for the combination of options you have chosen. Please change your selection(s) and try again. Changed from KG to LB & from CM to inches but still get the same The first package sent without insurance, but now have one for $50 to send from Toronto to Calgary & prefer to get the insurance Any idea how to solve this problem quick so I can ship it today... So, if you're a Canadian eBay seller, you know that Canada Post does NOT offer a flat-rate shipping method. This makes selling in Canada extremely frustrating. The rates aren't even reasonable. In the United States, USPS offers many flat-rate programs and encourages eCommerce, where as Canada Post discourages it. They wonder why they get no business... "Canada Post - Delivering the online world." Sure. These are their crackhead rates: Within Canada shipping a light, average video game would cost about $9 CAD or $7.50 USD. To ship a video game to the United States, it would cost about $8.25 CAD or $6.50 USD. The real kicker is that it costs LESS to ship to a different country. CANADA POST, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!!? So, my question is for all the Canadian sellers. I ship only to Canada & US. Shipping worldwide would be absolute chaos. How can I get a cheaper rate then what Canada Post is giving me? I usually send smaller stuff, like video games, CD's, movies, iPods, etc. Many thanks! 🙂

I paid for my item as a guest. I was notified that my item has been shipped and a shipping number starting with UPAAB was giving to me via email. When I click the link on the tracking number it asks me to either sign in or use guest. I have to use guest, so it asks for my email and access code. It says the access code is in the order confirmation email. I received an order confirmation email but there is NO access code, so i'm unable to log in as a guest to track my package. What do?
