I sent an item back to seller for a working product. Shipping was $75.00....opted out for parcel mail. Seller maintains he has yet to receive the package. Refuses to send working product until he gets the one I have sent him.  It has been 4 months since it has been sent. Ebay can't do anything about it.  He has my money and all I have is an empty box. So its my first time selling on eBay and shipping an item and i just learned that you can't use duct tape after covering the box with duct tape and after paying for the shipping label, so i wanted to know if there was anyway to remove the duct tape without damaging the box or leaving sticky residue, is there any way ? I thought of emptying the box and then put the box in the freezer to make the duct tape unstuck or just easier to remove from the box because i learned that duct tape doesn't really stick in the cold and am not too sure of my idea is a good one.   I'd really like to find a way to do this without having to void the label, also the box used is a shoe box so i need to re-use this box to make sure its the same size as when i created the label.   Thank you in advance for tacking your time to help me. ... Huh, my in young (ahem) career as a *cough* budding seller, I have witnessed, twice, Ebay giving me notice of cancelling winning auctions due to *as above*.   The first one was a stinky one, pretending payment was made to my paypal account and attempted to directed the shipping  address so, ah (what), Algeria..  All were spoof emails   The second one was a "immediate" purchase but no payment was applied.  That is the case with this option,, right? payment is mandatory.  I got the email for the supposedly, authorized ebayer stating someone hacked into her account and made 11 attempts to buy/win auction goods.   Is this a common occurrence or just plain old weirdness? ... I am an eBay seller from Canada. How do i set up 3 different shipping charges to Canada $1.00, USA $1.50 & Worldwide $2.75? I am seeing that my US eBay purchasers are being charged for the USA $1.50 rate as well as the Worldwide $2.75 rate. That should only be the USA rate. Ok. I know a similar question has been asked many times before but really, how to deal with the outrageous shipping rates by Canada post that are nothing short of highway robbery? Just shipped an item that barely weighed more than 300 grams to Alberta (from BC) and was shocked when they told me the shipping cost was $13. That's like 40% of what I sold the item for (offered free shipping). So, after all fees I ended up making a net profit of $10 on the $35 sale !!! So, what if I sell something a lot heavier? How can we make any money with these outrageous rates? I thought about going to the US to ship -since I'm only about 15 minutes from the border- but the US customs told me I'd have to pay like $10 if I bring stuff with me with the intent to ship it from there.   So yeah, how the hell can we make any money here? ... I paid for my item as a guest. I was notified that my item has been shipped and a shipping number starting with UPAAB was giving to me via email. When I click the link on the tracking number it asks me to either sign in or use guest. I have to use guest, so it asks for my email and access code. I am stuck -waiting on Auctiva to answer also I picked "small parcel or envelope "  entered the dimensions I thought -no good got error -so went to Canpost.ca - entered the dimensions they had for the small bubble envelope - they still didn't like it - with or without the height dimension. Cannot find in their shipping calculator - to send a bubble envelope - 25 grams - must be less than a parcel as goes through the slot ? oh trying for in Canada shipping first - but then to usa (chose small packets usa -air)  yes I am using cm's  very frustrating - so I winged some flat rates and posted anyway to get something up after 9 hours !! bet I can't edit it live now ??  I put in bold on the listing that shipping was estimated to check back tuesday or email me for actual. hopefully I can correct the amount through shipping discounts -but would like to get it right and run everything from home. Hello,    I purchased an item on November 9, 2013 from China and was shipped by China Post. It's January and it still has not arrived. The tracking number is RB941863328CN. The last update is from Dec 11 from the location PVG with a NULL status. I'm just unsure if the tracking China Post provides includes shipping updates after it leaves the country, like some other postal services do. Since the item did not arrive by the holidays the seller refunded me entirely, so it's not an issue about money.
