So far Canada post is unhelpful, which is sort of reasonable, they suggest the seller might've given me the wrong tracking number. Unfortunately for me the seller in China isn't responding to any eBay messages I send, though I have waited two business days. eBay won't let me open an "Item not arrived" complaint yet, given we're still in the possible delivery window.   What is my next step? One of my items was sold to USA. I tried to print my shipping label on eBay/Shippo. However, it said that "You must include one signed original and two copies of a commercial invoice along with your label." My first question is where I should print the commercial invoice. The "Sold" under my  eBay, there is no option for printing an invoice. My second question is how to deal with the three copies of invoices. I know that I need to stick the shipping label to my package. Consequently, should I need to put the invoices in a Ziploc bag and apply it to my package as well? Thank you.  ... View more

Hello! I am a new member in eBay. I saw this game that said buy it now, I really wanted it and paid it via Paypal.    The seller has some communication, since I filled out the wrong address and he asked me to correct the address. Other that, I received zero messages regarding the my order.    Under my purchase history, the status of my order has been "Paid but not shipped" since the date (Dec19, 2017) I purchased it. So when I was in the UK I used to use normal stamps to post my parcels without any troubles. Now I'm thinking of doing the same, but wouldn't buy that $100 coil of stamps (50 oversized mail rate stamps) before asking if it's a good idea or not. Many of my items can qualify as an oversized lettermail so I don't want to pay 5 times more than I should (you know, Shippo). Has anyone done the same?    Thanks! ... View more

I ordered an expensive piece of camera equipment that I need for a shoot at the start of December. The item was supposed to arrive at my house today at the earliest and next week at the latest. The shipping status is marked as "Shipping Info Received" But the item is not in transit and the USPS tracking number given to me is invalid. The seller is based in the US and I live in Ontario   I contacted the seller and they told me that the tracking number is the correct one and that USPS usually takes longer.    Unfortunately, the seller's negative reviews all have to do with items not being shipped or invalid tracking numbers. Regardless of that the seller has a ton of good feedback, over 10,000 postive reviews and 150 negatives. 98.6 rating. Do I have anything to worry about? Can I ship a whale bone sculpture from Canada to the USA?   I contacted US Customs and they said I should contact NOAA. I sent NOAA two messages and have received no response to date.   I found this, but is it in effect as its not from a official government sight.    Export of Inuit Sculpture Containing Whalebone or Ivory The export of certain Inuit sculpture from Canada to other parts of the world including the United States does have some restrictions. In order to reduce harvesting of marine animals such as whales and walruses, the United States Congress passed the Marine Mammal Protection Act in 1972. It was later modified in 1981 and a special section (101) of the act was developed to exclude Eskimo Inuit and other aboriginals living in the state of Alaska. Section 101 allowed Alaskan Natives to continue their traditions of hunting marine mammals for food and using parts of such animals as raw materials in the making of clothes, crafts and artwork. The act makes it illegal for American citizens to import any ivory or whalebone from outside the United States. I had no idea that the items I ordered were being shipped from Shanghai, China.  I know from experience that clothing from there fits incredibly small.  I thought my items were coming from the seller In Arizona.   These items are no where close to fitting me.  I am not going to pay all kinds of money to return these items to China.  It would cost more than the items themselves. Its been 10 days that my package is en route to canada and I bought the Item on august 5th. I've contacted the seller and he was very responsive he told me that the package was stuck in transit between the local mail and the airport (Wich was true, because the day after I had all the tracking information about my package). The package has been sent to canada on august 25th, and now its september 5th and still no package!!   I opened a case and I contacted the seller and he says that I should receive it in about 7-10 days.   Should I do a refund or should I wait? I ordered an item from Japan that was shipped regular mail through Japan Post. I received an empty envelope today that was supposed to contain the item. The Japan Post envelope was sealed inside a Canada Post plastic sleeve. Inside was a letter from Canada Post that the envelope was opened and the item taken by someone in shipping. Hi.  I am a new Canadian seller, using ebay.ca and listing in can dollars. I would  like to start selling dvds and books. I am using buy it now and the buyer must pay shipping. I am still using my first 50 free listings.   I have listed a few dvds in the smallest, non padded envelopes which I cut down to the size of the dvd. These are series with 4 dvds inside but are around 2 cm thick.    The weight was 250 grams, size 21 cm long, 16 cm wide and 2 cm high. I listed them at first as 9 dollars Canadian and the shipping quote on the item showing on my listing was over 13 dollars for Canada post regular parcel.   I chose Canada post light packet usa for my usa shipping and it doesn't give a quote. I was told there is no shipping calculator available for my international orders and I have to always ask a buyer for state and zip code, go on Canada post website and get a calculation from there for any buyers, then add the cost to buy it now item and invoice the usa buyer. the cost so far for other items was always double the domestic shipping cost which deterred any usa buyers. I haven't yet sold any dvds but I am assuming the shipping cost will again be double for the usa shipping.    so I lowered my price to 5 dollars can each dvd set. now it doesn't give any quote at all on domestic shipping which means for buy it now I have to get emails from domestic and usa buyers and go to the Canada post website get the quote etc etc. I don't know why it did then when I changed the price I must have screwed something up.    I am overwhelmed with this shipping. is there any easier way to do this? what am I doing wrong? I have seen other experienced sellers that offer free economy shipping which I think must be in the plain brown envelopes - letter mail - I am using plain non padded brown envelopes but it never gives me the option of using letter mail. the shipping domestic when it would give a quote was always over 13 dollars. at this rate I would have to give away the dvd to pay the shipping cost.    I would appreciate anyone who could offer any advice on how to get economy Canada post shipping and advice on pricing the dvds I have or how I could price things and offer free shipping. any advice appreciated. thanks very much.   ... What is the most cost-effective method to ship comics via Canada Post to the USA with a Paypal-accepted proof delivery? Size-wise, I am looking at shipping items in large document envelopes with cardboard protection. They are in the gray area where the value is too much for me to feel comfortable shipping without some protection from scammers, but not enough to spend $50+ on shipping. Haven't much for years, just been a buyer, so am very rusty, so I really feel like a new seller! Thinking now about selling my vintage jewelry collection and clothing on eBay, so I will be needing mainly to mail small to medium packages.   I don't have a regular, registered business or anything. I don't believe it is an issue with Chinese suppliers.  Never used to have a problem, now it is hopeless.  If it was one supplier, I would be suspicious as to whether the items were shipped, but these are all different sellers. In April I received two packages ordered last November; that's five months.  I now have three orders from January and seven from February that I am waiting for.  Because it is taking so long, I am not requesting a refund.  eBay should recognize the shipping delays and give us longer than 60 days to request refunds and leave feedback.  I am sure not ordering a two dollar item from the States and paying $40.00 shipping.  I guess my days with eBay are limited and I don't purchase from sellers who use global. ...
