Didn't get refund

I purchased an item using my credit card as clearly indicated in transaction.

Seller sent wrong item.

Seller refunded the $10.30 to PayPal?????  but i don't have a PayPal account.

So i obviously didn't receive any refund. 

How do i report this to Ebay?

I can't find how to do it anywhere and the transaction says this transaction is now complete.

Most eBay credit card payment transactions are processed by PayPal (eventually Ayden will get that job).

 

Seller refunds to PayPal,

PayPal then refunds to your credit card.

Should take a day or two for the refund to show on your credit card.

Very few eBay sellers take credit cards directly.

Your payment was processed by Paypal.

The credit will also be processed by Paypal.

 

We are going to see this concern often in future as eBay expands its "guest buyer" program. Please let us know how long it takes for the refund to show up on your card? This will help future questions.

 

BTW, even when the merchant does take cards directly, as we did before we closed out B&M shop, most customers preferred to use the anonymizing services of Paypal as well as having the extra protection of their Buyer Protection program.
