Problems with Paypal

Are there any sellers that accept payments through other means than Paypal? Paypal will not accept my pre-paid credit card as payment and I refuse to link Paypal with my bank account because I have learned that numerous people I have spoken to have had their accounts hacked and money stolen from their accounts. I do online purchases all the time through secure checkouts with pre-paid credit cards and love online shopping but I cannot find Ebay sellers who accept other forms of payment.

Most pre-paid credit cards cannot be used on eBay.Adding a bank account to paypal is no more dangerous than letting your employer have your account information in order to send your paycheck directly to your bank account.If you refuse to add a bank account to your PayPal account,you may as well close your eBay account. If you have a balance in your paypal account,the only way to get it out is by transfer to a bank account.The only way to add money to your paypal account is theough a bank account.The only form of payment most sellers on eBay will accept is PayPal. There are sellers who have their own credit card merchant account and accept direct credit card payments,but with a regular credit card,not a pre- paid card. In short,if you want to buy on eBay,you will have no choice but to add at least a bank account to your PayPal account.
