Haven't sold anything on e bay for years because it was **bleep**. Reluctatly returned to sell something and have been waiting three weeks for payment. Don't get me wrong I love the idea of making interest free loans to the the greedy **bleep** management at e bay.
How the **bleep** does ebay remain in business?
a s s w i p e s c e n sor pos ts as well. Phu ck oph ebay.

If you haven't sold anything "for years", like you said, eBay will have you as a newbie seller, and it takes time (and succesfully completed sales) to build reputation, and get access to faster payments.
Their playground, their rules. That's life.

Sorry, but after years of absence from eBay,it was your responsibility to be sure you knew and understood the workings of the site as it is today ,not what it was years ago...It would have been in your best interests to "know before you go" >you should have read up on all the changes that could have/may have taken place during that absence, and that includes the payment holds. ...and in your case has resulted in what you conceive as something you don't agree with and have voiced that displeasure with this public rant.

You had an unwanted item that had not sold elsewhere but it sold on eBay.
Did you sign up for Managed Payment?
EBay no longer uses Paypal as a payment processor.
You need to give your checking account information and a government issued ID to confirm your identity.
Transfers of your customer payment directly to your bank default to Tuesdays.
