How to remove the feedback on seller profile?

Hi,

I put a negatvie feedback on the item I purchased. The seller has contacted me to provide the refund but I require to remove the feedback in order to get the refund. I have tried to find the way to do so without success.  Please let me know how I can completely remove the feedback?

Thank you.

The seller would have to send you a feedback revision request in order for you to remove your feedback.  But it is wrong and against ebay policy for the seller to require you to change your feedback in order to get a refund. If the seller misrepresented the product you can file a return request in the resolution center if it has been less than 30 days since you received it.  When you choose the reason for the return use 'Doesn't match description or photos' if that is what happened. The seller will have to pay for return shipping and refund once it is returned or refund you without asking for a return.

If the seller is unsure of how to request a feedback revision, ask them to go to help and support at the top of the page and type in 'feedback revision request'

In the short run, you can add a Response to any feedback, your own or others.

In this case, an apology withdrawing the feedback would be polite.

But do pursue the removal.

That being said.

Changing the feedback will NOT get you a refund.

Never never never accept the offer of a replacement, it will not arrive.

Sounds a lot like a common scam to my cynical ears.

The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page. It sounds as if what you need to make a Not As Described dispute and what you need is  a Dispute.

If the seller does not refund promptl (or send a return shipping label and refund promptly when the item is delivered) YOU WILL BE REFUNDED.

Feedback is a now useless legacy of the early internet. Resolution Centres are how problems are resolved.

"I require to remove the feedback in order to get the refund"

That statement only reinforces the feedback you left the seller.

IMO, your concerns would be best directed to an eBay representative.

Have eBay call you.
