Someone has asked to link my account. I am not sure what this action will do. Will it give the seller full access to my account?

LOL *katz.. sometimes the obvious is to obvious for me.  850 feedback and not linked to PP , nah

Is your paypal account linked to your eBay account ?

That could be what they mean.

Some sellers have their preferences set to block buyers whos accounts are not linked.

Do you have a Paypal account? Is it recorded with eBay as a method of payment?

Most sellers do not take credit cards directly and instead use Paypal to process buyer's payments. Paypal is very good about keeping your bank (and preferably credit card) information confidential and secure.

Sellers cannot ask buyers to pay by cash, cheque or money order, although buyers can offer these payments. This is a Buyer Protection policy.

If your buyer is European, he may want to do a bank or wire transfer. These are normal and cheap in Europe, but North American banks charge $25-45 to do these. They get away with the high charge because here they are usually only used by companies doing multi-million dollar transfers.

Tell him you only accept Paypal and offer to help him set up his account. Remind him that PP is instant and free to the buyer.

Buyers are allowed to insist on PP payment.

Ebay sellers have nothing to do with your account.

Hi .. I'm really not sure what you mean but if a seller is asking you to bypass ebay checkout , do not do.

Could you be more specific.
