The item I paid for arrived damaged and the seller has not taken care of the problem. What do I do next to get my money back?

I bought a sound system on ebay and it arrived damaged.This is the email i sent to the seller,

 

The receiver was damaged, it sounds like something is broken inside of the console. In addition to it not working as it should it also is missing one of its rubber feet under the console.
Please give me details on how to send it back to you and get a refund, let me know what we should do next to rectify the problem ?

The box was labelled fragile, but it looks like it had been dropped onto a sharp corner and the cardboard was ripped and gouged in a few places .

I also notice that who ever packed the loud speaker system only used one layer of bubble wrap and 3 pieces of newsprint paper. This system should have been packed with Styrofoam corners to ensured it's protection if dropped. This item was quite heavy and should have been pack with more care as to avoid these kind of result.

I hope you will live up to our contract and replace the system or return the payment.

Let me know what I do next to move this along to a speedy resolution.

Claims must be filed within 45 days.  For any unresolved transaction, even if returned and awaiting refund, a dispute should be opened by day 43 of payment date. Once opened , have 20 days to escalate to a claim.

 

Return cost under a PayPal claim is at your expense and with online delivery confirmation. In your case would be US Expedited. Some sellers , if their fault, will pay return but most will not.
