I understand your position but I think it's better to let them think it's some sort of giant victory and the Mango Mussolini can move on to other types of fake problems and his fake victories.

Well  the red states   Senators  and Congress folks   scared  Butterball  Manderaine  Orange  45/47   . Got love  use of border security  as cover story for the Pause .  The  Tariffs  will  be gone  .   The red state's  would  been hit harder  first  before   us  blue  state folks  .   Mid. term's are comming  and  a lot of GOP seats  are risk to flip to blue.

I just finsihed the exclusion of the United States from my store (Using business policies)

With Trump 30 days is an eternity of lies and deception.  The walls of the USA govt are showing signs of crumbling and internal squabling regarding his Orders and Elon Musk's actions. Musk gave full access to a stranger of the govt to the entire USA govt payment software system. 

Both the Republicans and Democrats are steaming mad.

What a calamity! Humpty Trumpty seems to be falling off of his wall. I'm going to wait for stabilty before doing anything else.  If he doesn't play nice maybe he won't even be the president in 30 days...

One can only hope... I just can't believe we're in this chaos again.

My time away on my dot com store is over, but I'm very concerned the buyers might not return... anyone visiting my store since Saturday saw an extended time away and that might hurt me, but I don't see what else I was supposed to do. I figured this would be a long lasting problem that couldn't be solved right away, and the listings had to remain hidden if I were going to make changes (like changing all the locations to Canada because I can't  use Stallion anymore).

People at places like Stallion and Chit Chats were very worried about their jobs, so I've been told. I was also tipped off when I dropped off my package there would be an announcement from Stallion tonight, but we didn't know the tariffs were on hold at that point. Just that there would be an update. I'm super happy with the news I got, but I'm going to need a few days to recover and feel like myself again when it comes to my eBay store.

Let's hope services like Chit Chat and Stallion also take this time to prepare.

Personally, I would have continued shipping to the States and let the buyer deal with their own border agency. But I understand many sellers depends heavily on the US market.

Maybe it's time to diversify 😉

At this point no one including the Canadian or BC governments believes anything coming from Washington. There not even putting the booze back on the shelves. 

I wouldn't worry about your store banner.  If youre concerned post an OPEN FOR BUSINESS banner.

Trump probably delayed just to turn down the tariff noise because of the giant pile of lawsuits and mounting internal fighting plus his constituents are finding out what they got for their MAGA hats.

The listings were hidden before, now they're not, so I think that means open. I wouldn't allow shipping with this going on because I couldn't guarantee I would ship from the US, and do not want to take their money and trick them with an order from Canada that they will have to pay tariffs on.

I'm going to send out offers tomorrow sometime with a note that says items are shipped from New York as domestic shipments, hopefully that will encourage some people to buy. I realize with offers most people don't buy anyway, but out of every 100 offers I end up with a few sales.

You must have dedicated buyers if they would pay an extra 25% tariff on top of the  price for your widgets.

We have no 3rd party border service in the BC interior but I agree about getting the ducks in a row. this is why I'm adding UPS to my shipping options. Gettin" ready for the postal strike in May ...LOL

A side effect of the "Now you see a tariff, Now you don't" is shipping may slow down due to volume. 

If people think there's a 30 day reprieve before "Who knows what?" Canada Post, UPS Fedex etc just may get extra busy.
