22 years on eBay and a first time request today!
A customer sent me a message asking me to INCREASE the price of my item!
Turns out they had a coupon and they couldn't use it unless my price was a dollar more as the coupon had a minumum price.
Had a chuckle about that and was happy to oblige!
Thought worth sharing for a positive chuckle for a change!

Wow, it would be really cool to have the same kind of request!

I have also thought to ask a seller for a similar revision.
In my case, it was to take $1.50 from the shipping charge and add it to the item price so I could use my $35 eBay customer appreciation coupon .
I opted not to bother the seller, and bought the item a few days later from a newer and applicable listing.
I get it.

It is too bad that she never thought to ask about that approach, I was so surprised by the request that option (moving $1 to the item price and reducing shipping) never even occured to me until you mentioned it.
I did think about refunding the $1 afterward, but it was only a $ so I didn't bother.
My items are free shipping so the shipping cost rarely enters my mind, even though the international folks pay it.... I'll try to keep that option in mind for the next time! (although if it takes another 22 years small chance, most days by this time I've already forgotten what I had for breakfast!)
