There's been some discussion on dotCOM boards about the lack of advertising from eBay.

Followed, because it is dotCOM, by complaints about the advertising that is actually being done.

Has anyone seen this?

Brilliant put-down piece though I'm not sure advertising 101 would advocate devoting the largest portion of the run-time talking about a competitor.

Yep, been following that also on the dotCOM side...

truly believe eBay's advertising from many years ago was a more positive approach and worth the watch, but this reminds me of the now accepted political approach to slam the competitor, rather than put all the emphasis on the good about the eBay site.... although these days it's getting harder and harder to find that goodness about eBay.
