Any problem from shipping to US with canada post?

Asking this since many people are still experiencing delays with their purchased items coming from us to canada because of the aftereffects of the canada post strike. How about shipping parcels to us from canada with canada post? Is there anything that I should inform to us buyers?

RE: "shipping parcels to us from canada with canada post"

I ship items to the USA via Tracked Packet and all has been going well (as per orders/sales on my other selling site where I have recently shipped 4 different packages to 3 different states.) 10 days for the delivery of the earliest one...2 of the 3 more recent pkgs are in the USA; the other has not entered the USA, but its status indicates:"International item being forwarded to destination country" .

So all seems to be going just fine.

There don't appear to be any issues or delays going outbound to the USA.

That said, we don't know what's going to happen on the 20th when Trump (likely) signs executive orders putting tariffs on everything. If the de minimis doesn't change or is still fairly generous, there should be little to no effect on most small sellers. If he eliminates the de minimis as well, that's going to be a big problem. USA buyers are NOT going to be expecting to pay a hefty tariff when the item gets delivered to them. On top of that, the shipping companies and border agents are NOT going to have the staff to process it all. There could be massive delays and who knows what other kinds of issues.

Unless you are BIG busines/Industry &/or a BIG distributor of goods, I highly doubt there will be much concern about tariffs on the average eBay seller's items. T***P wants the MEGA bucks, not the few dollars here & there from eBay sellers...

As other folks have stated, it is normal.  The time frames are the same as prior to the strike.  This is with tracked packet and a number of shipments over 2KG.

Timing of stuff sent out is back to normal by my observations as well.

I'm going back to my usual shipping scheduling (shipping Mon, Wed, Fri) from the "daily" I've been doing since the PO went back to help ensure stuff got out and on its way as quick as possible.

I'm getting feedback for shipments sent since December 20. Considering all the holidays (and PTO taken) over the past 30 days, I'd say that's back to normal.

It's not quite normal just yet... at my work we have incoming mail and we're used to a certain amount each day which one person can handle by themselves and spend the entire day doing it.

For the past 3 days that I've been in the office we've been getting enough mail that a second person needs to work on it to get the day's mail scanned and processed which means we're still receiving more than normal right now. I'd say our volume is about 30% more than normal right now, and we were receiving double volume in the week after the strike ended.
