I see that there is another thread about this but no one has really given an update.
I got the payment sent email at the usual time, but no deposit later that day. My payouts from Feb 5 and 6 have both deposited. Wealthsimple says there's no evidence and eBay support says to wait.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well said. With the growing number of sellers effected and the length of time this is dragging on, i wonder if this situation is something CBC's Marketplace would be interested in investigating. Maybe they can get a response from Ebay's management.

@musicharmonyandrhythm wrote:I'm trying not to take this fiasco too personally, but I can't understand the lack of respect for Canadian sellers by Ebay, we all work very hard to make a few sales to ship our packages as quickly as possible and this is how Ebay treats us.
Not a single communication to advise us of the problem and when this problem will be resolved.
The lack of communication is unacceptable, but in general eBay Canada makes up a very small percentage of the overall platform sales and they have to deal with two versions of it which weren't designed to work together. That said, if the tariffs come into full effect, I think we'll find a lot of sellers who were listing on dot com and using cross border shippers will switch to dot ca and those numbers will increase quite a bit. Hopefully that will get us a little more love.

This appears to be only a Canadian issue am I right? Has anyone checked to see if there is this problem on eBay.com US?
I'm curious as to which provinces have been affected. I'm in Ontario.
What about Marketplace @ CBC news. They investigate these kinds of things and usually get help for the complainants. I don't know if they could help.
I agree with all of the above posters...this is unacceptable treatment of sellers! eBay is not being transparent and 30-60 days to resolve this..if it is true....they are just hoping we forget about it.
devon@ebay ???

most of my listings are on .com and the money i was expecting on Feb 4 was from .com sales. Payout was a no show, so it seems it doesn't matter where the listings are, just where the seller lives. We can say this is only effecting Canada based sellers and thus an ebay.ca cause/problem.
Everyone keep a close eye on bank accounts and credit cards linked to ebay this weekend in case there are any etsy like 'glitches'.

I think it targeted all provinces equally. Aware of sellers in MB and AB that had that deposit go poof!! eBay's idea of fair is fair!!!

All of my listings are on .com as well. Still no payout today. 😞 I did call them again yesterday, and they gave me the 'someone will get back to you in 48 hours thing' with a ticket/case number.

Nothing on Ebay.com board. I got my payment, as usual (Qc). All my listings are on .com, but it seems my payments (CAD) come from Canada.

I'm on eBay.com as well and I got my Feb 4th payment.
I think you all should contact that CBC tip email (for go public tips) and have them look into this. Generally when they get involved there are good results.

So no one from Ebay monitors these discussion boards? Why is it that we are not being communicated to by Ebay? Terrible organization and company...I can't see them remaining in business if this continues? poorly handled situation.

Don't know if it is a coincidence or not but I woke up to back charges from a user who had nothing but positive things to say about me in the feedback almost 3 months ago. He has showed me screenshots of his account and everything looks good, really starting to think they have been comprimised and this is why they wont tell us anything.

Also just spoke with the payments department via the chat. They wanted to end the chat right away when I gave them my payment number and said they can only speak further via email.

what is it a cover up now? Going to pretend nothing happened, everything's awesome. Good luck.
Boy are there going to be law suits. This is clearly MUCH bigger than we first thought.

I said it before and will say it again this smells like they have gone into "panic" mode to keep a "lid" on the actual situation for fear of tipping off those involved or the real extent of the issue(s).
I wonder how many people have not even realized they did not get that Feb 4 payment yet, you Twitter & Social Media users should ask it or post it on those sites/apps asking questions or other eBay Sellers if they have had an issue, make it, take it "mainstream".
These Boards have limited impact as they have limited users so it is easy to keep the "Pandora Box" closed...

i've started spreading it around on various forums i visit, more of a warning to Canadaian Ebay sellers that, since it happened once, and we have no idea why it happened, there is no guarantee it won't happen again and to watch payouts carefully.
