I can't get a definitive answer on this. Is it ok to use a bankers box to ship in Canada? The kind with an attached but flip up lid and handles on the side.
Good idea? Bad Idea?
I'm shipping something heavy and it's the only box I currently have that's big enough and strong enough. But Not sure if it's acceptable.

I'd put the contents into a clean trash bag and pad it with peanuts or bubble wrap, then seal the box with packing tape-- crisscrossing the lid.
Duct tape if you have any.
We use them a lot for shipping lots from our public auction. No problems.

you can ship your items, in any box you want. just be sure it is sealed well, and the contents are properly protected, so as not to be damaged by movement inside the box while be transported.
