Which ebay did you set you are store up on -- .CA or .COM ?

If you set up your store on ebay.com the annual Basic store subscription would be:

$21.95us converted to $27.51cdn plus 5% GST (for AB) comes to $28.89 per month

Not sure if ebay uses the exchange rate in place at time annual subscription starts/renews or if it gets adjusted monthly.

If set up on ebay.CA the annual Basic store subscription would be:

$19.95cdn plus 5% GST (for AB) comes to $20.95 per month

According to the current eBay dot CA help page rates for a basic store should be 19.95 +1.00 GST (AB) yearly subscription and 24.95 + 1.25 GST (AB)  month to month subscription. Should be no other fees attached as now everything is billed immediately. You may need to touch base with eBay help tomorrow morning. Make sure you let the agent know it is a Canadian registered account. There "was" a charge for Terapeak but should be free for everyone now.

My store was opened on .com (I had actually forgotten that important detail).

How do I go about moving it to .ca?

Listings are usually around 200 and would be relatively easy to  cut and paste.

Close the .com Store.....Open a new Store on .ca

If you are on the Annual plan you need to wait until the renewal window or you will pay a penalty. If you are on a month to month you can do it anytime.

You will lose your custom header or any other customization (Categories) which you will need to redo for the .ca Store.

You don't need to do anything with existing listings, they will automatically appear in your Store no matter where it is "located".

Keep in mind, your Store contains all your listings no matter what eBay site they are listed on so no cut/paste required unless you want to move listings from .com to .ca

Still paranoid that I close .com and something happens and eBay won't let me open a new one on .ca with the same store name - just to try to save $10.00 a month lol.

(I think I see status quo in my future).
