Buyer help

Hi guys, so I have a buyer who opened a claim stating that they did not receive their parcel, even though the tracking shows it got delivered. Ebay sided with me and shut down the case. Now the buyer is busy messanging me and saying they plan on filing a case with paypal. Can they do this? Does anybody know how paypal responds to such claims?

ps. Im also looking for lotz, if you see this please message me because I planned on getting back but somehow I lost our conversation

Re: Buyer help

Yes Buyers have three levels of protection.

EBay for 30 days from delivery or last estimated date for delivery.

Paypal for 180 days from payment.

Credit card (even if the card were used to back a PP account and the PP claim failed) for 120-180days from payment depending on the card's chargeback policy.

But as marnotom points out, your Proof of Delivery usually will triumph, so long as the delivery address matches the address the buyer had listed as their own.

My understanding is that buyers can attempt to file a case or claim with PayPal after being unsuccessful with a claim through eBay’s Money Back Guarantee. However, the conditions for seller “protection” are no different than those for eBay. As you appear to have sufficient evidence of the item being delivered to the address in the transaction details, your buyer shouldn’t prevail in a PayPal claim, either.
