Hi All,
I am trying to list items. All my items are less than 1kg, so I put 0 at the kg blank, but it fails everytime. There is a red banner say "The package weight is not valid or is missing. Provide a valid number for the weight." All other fillings are perfcet and not errors occur.
Anyone has idea how to fix it? Many Thanks.
RW

Input the correct weight rather than "0". If it’s less than a kilogram, it would be a portion of a kilogram. A 750 gram package would be 0.75 kg.

Don't put anything in the kg box just the number of grams in the grams box.

The blanks dont allow me to input decimal number😥

I tried, but it fails again. If I put 1 2 3 4 5 then works...only 0 and empty dont work

Sorry, I had Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and my resultant fuzzy brain misunderstood your post. I'm not sure why a blank entry doesn't work for the "kg" section. What are you putting in the "g" portion, and have you already specified the shipping method? If so, what is it?

I am using local Canada Post shipping, I put 4 in "g" portion (trading card, very light ), so I have to put 0 or leave blank in "kg" portion, but neither 0 or blank works show the message "The package weight is not valid or is missing. Provide a valid number for the weight."

I suspect that it's the four gram weight that's tripping up the system. Remember, you're inputting the weight of the item fully packaged, not the item itself. What would the weight be with all the packaging and protections you're going to be adding to the card?

I have done what marnotom suggested several times if it only allows grams and put 0.2 (or whatever) - make sure you remove the 4 grams part if you are doing that; but if it is not allowing you to do it at all maybe 4 grams is just too light so it doesn't think it's valid. I realize a trading card is very light but you would have your envelope, hopefully some kind of protective cardboard and something that would certainly put it above 4 grams. Try putting in even 100 grams and see what happens. You always have to included the weight of your packaging too.

ya, the total weight with package is still less than 10g, I tried 10 as well...

First cut off for standard letter mail is 30 grams so I would use that whenever you under that amount. At the cut off use the next stamp up to 50 grams. (Disclaimer - Standard letter mail). Anything ebay considers oversized = over .5 cm I just use the 2.09 rate (+ GST) and I am covering my costs.

Thanks, i tried take "40g", it works! (testing one). So that maybe the problem the 4g is too light..Thanks for the suggestion!!😁

Are you trying to use Calculated Shipping or Flat Rate?
For Lettermail I use Flat Rate and don't enter any weight or dimensions.
