Canada Post Expedited Lite - MIA...???

Hi All, just wanted to see if anyone else was having an issue with the Expedited Lite option not coming up for you when shipping through eBay? I have something to send out today and am so thankful for the free shipping Tuesday because it is going to the middle of nowhere BC but am especially thankful now because I checked eBay just for fun to see what the cost would have been and it didn't even give me an Expedited Lite option. I even moved the weight and dimensions down super small and no dice - are there certain places not covered by Lite or is there some bigger issue going on that I'm not aware of...? I'm sure it was there a week ago which is the last time I looked for it!

Are you missing the option when you go to ship? Are you using ebay Labels or CP directly? Expedited Lite is only available with eBay Labels. You would have to upgrade to Expedited using CP directly.

I tested one of my current listings and expedited lite IS availabe when I went to modify my listing. If you have additional information regarding your concern, please update and can do more testing.

Thanks! I've used Lite lots (on ebay labels) so know where/how to find it and it just wasn't there this time so I am wondering if there are certain locations that you can't use it for - I was trying Errington BC V0R 1V0 if that helps. It wasn't a weight/size issue because I messed around with that just to see if I could make it appear by decreasing both but even at the very minimum it wouldn't appear with this address...

Errington should be fine. It's not considered an airstage office. Just outside of Parksville on the island. The only criteria I am aware of limit is 200 grams and item cannot be bulky to push it past 200 grams. Doesn't take much with CP for something to get bumped up in weight. I tested that postal code with one of my listings (that has expedited lite attached) and a valid rate comes up no problem.

It would definitely be better if the shipping services were sequenced in order by company. CP services/UPS Services/Fedex Services vs combined the way they are now.

Interesting and thanks for this - it shows up there but when I was on the actual eBay shipping page with an order to ship it wasn't an option - something must be messed up!

From personal reports I've gotten back just been told regular parcel for Canada and small packet air to USA have been removed as options. Unsure why ex lite would be mia other than a possible glitch.

It is still showing okay for me. What if you tried "sell similar", I always do (well almost always) and the new listing picks up whatever shipping was used in the "similar" one. Even if the item is not necessarily similar and a pain to change some of specifics it could be a work around if it will show you the Lite shipping. You could try as an experiment to see if it shows even if you don't use it/post it.
