This is very frustrating. I've been trying for weeks but still unable to change the "Located In:" information that is showing on my listings.
I called eBay and they walked me through several steps and still no luck.
My "Ship From" location is different than what is showing my listings.
I revised a few listings and changed the location manually, but they still revert to the old location.
eBay tyler@ebay how do I change this please?
Thanks!

My postal code was changed by Canada Post about 8 years ago when they redid a lot of rural postal codes. My actual street address stayed the same though. I've never been able to change my postal code either. It's as if eBay doesn't recognize the latest one.

Hi @greenmangoes - will you let me know a bit about your listing process? Do you list from-scratch or do you use a relist or sell-similar function from older listings?
If you would try creating a listing from scratch and letting me know if the issue persists I'd appreciate it!

Hi Tyler,
I've tried both.
I list from scratch and I use a relist and change it manually but still no luck. I will try to create another listing from scratch and let you know how it turns out.
Thanks!

So to clarify a little more, my listings are showing the city, province and country. I would like them to show GTA, Ontario, Canada.
I have seen a few listings displaying that way so it must be possible to do.
Thanks!

I misunderstood what you were asking. I know that ebay wants us to enter postal/zip codes on our listings but I have at least one listing without, so it must still be possible to do that. I assume that you have already tried it as shown in this screenshot?

Have you tried updating using bulk edit? In my own testing I am unable to find the option from Seller settings. See: iTru Stretch Band (1) Light Green Stretch. Only from each specific listing. From past experience I've found it best to try a small test first before a larger one.
Changing it inside a new listing should make it the default going forward. Yet to test.

My Ship From Address says:
GTA, ON .....
Canada
I started a listing from scratch and it still picks up the item location.
Thanks!

Yes, I've tried that too.

I recently relisted some auction items and updated the location as GTA, Ontario, but they are still showing the city.

I just created a second listing with the same location as previous example. System picked up the info and inserted. My physical postal code is included. It's maybe possible something to do with the fact you are listing on dot com vs dot ca and is a component of US settings.

I would imagine that dotCOM cannot understand an alpha-numeric postal code, but only a wholly numeric zipcode.

What I am thinking too. A new accidental conflict. "Glitch"

Located in: ONTARIO, CanadaI don't know though how to identify if the listings are originally listed on .ca or .com.Either way, it shouldn't be this hard to change the item location. I'll see what tyler@ebay says. Thanks!
Easiest way to tell is prices would be in US funds. There are numerous features that work substanially different between the 2 sites. Not to mention delays in release dates of new features.

I have a .com listing that states I am in Alberta, Canada. On the listing form the zip code field is blank and under city/state it says Alberta. Did you try just typing in Ontario?

The .com listing form does allow numbers and letters in the zip code field. My postal code is in my newer com listings.

Hi Tyler,
Just checking to see if you've found a solution to this as I'm still unable to change the city in my listings.
Thanks!
