EBay Canada did have (on my screen) vertical listings of the various places we could go.
Now it is a more limited horizontal list, more like what was seen on dotCOM.
If it helps. Probably someone else noticed that.

Will System Status be added to the dot ca board in the near future? This would be extremely helpful for outages for the folks north of the US border.

If you go to Seller News>Current System Status it will take you here.
You could also bookmark that page too, if you wanted to keep it in your favorites. 🙂

We're still in a 'hurry up and wait' situation I'm afraid. I've been told today that the root cause has been identified and a fix planned - for deployment next week.

Update:
I was told this would be corrected Tuesday or Thursday of this week.
Judging from my experience of the boards this morning, I'm inclined to think we should expect a Thursday fix.
If anyone is seeing the boards as we'd all expect them to show will you tag me and let me know? Thanks!

Is the customer service closed? I tried to call at their normal business hours but no luck. All I got is "We're currently unavailable. Please check back during our normal business hours from Not enabled. Closed 24x7". What is up?
I need to contact eBay about the unwarranted and unfair negative feedback that I got 2 from a German buyer. According to the tracking information his package is sitting in Germany and waiting for "pick up" since July 2 and he got mad and blamed me for that as if I have controls of things at his post office. He claimed that he never received a pick up notice and claim that he cannot go to the post office to pick it up without a pick up notice. I told him to go to the post office or call the post office but no he blamed me for it and gave me 2 negative feedback which is unwarranted. I need to call eBay to have them removed which I have nothing to do with is problems with his local post office.
Please kindly help me and remove those unwarranted feedback. Thanks.

Regarding shipping to Germany, unsure why but from my past experiences over a course of 1 year items with higher value (My 2 cases the items were over 50.00) they arrived in Germany fast but sat in German customs for an extended period of time according to the tracking. At that point, tracking showed that cards had been dropped off. In both cases, the buyers said they did not receive a card. Appears between tracking and what is exactly going doesn't accurately match. Both cases there was a small amount of duties owing. They eventually received their deliveries but it seemed it took much longer than it should have. This may have been what happened in your situation. The problems definitely seems to be with the German Mail System/Customs and keeping customers advised.
With your tracking, you should be able to set both you and your customer up with tracking updates. That might ease his worry and help him understand that you have no control of the situation.

PS. On one of the packages, I submitted a request for update status with Deutsche Post and received a response 3 months after it HAD been delivered saying they didn't know where the package was and that they had closed the file. Facts to make a person say hmmm!!!
