Is this new? I just came across this recently, on 2 items. Now we have a problem if eBay makes the buyer click on a link to see the description....
Oh... one good thing though that I noticed... "Contact seller" is back at the upper right under the seller ID. Took me a while to figure it out though... more changes for the sake of change. When we are accustomed to something, they change it back.

I looked at your listings yesterday when I saw this post and all looked okay with no "See complete description". I checked again now and all okay. I searched for your id "lady.stark" on eBay.com today. Fresh start of my computer today with windows temp files, cookies and cache cleared automatically on startup.
I am using FireFox latest version.
I also ran shipscript's tool here
http://www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/ActiveContentScanner.htm
and all listings passed OK. No issues at all.
What browser are you using?
Did you clear browser cache and cookies?
Maybe old eBay code in browser cache?

I viewed a few of your listings on .com on three browsers: Firefox, Chrome and IE. The full description was shown on each. This was from my desktop.

I have latest Firefox version.
It seems everything is back to normal tonight. Really weird...

Not sure what was happening there, but as mentioned in the chat today the 'see full description' button is related to the HTTPS changes (http://ebay.to/2yLSnap). If your listings don't have any HTTP links, hosted photos or code you should be fine and your listings should display as they used to in the past on all sites.
If your listings do contain any HTTP links they will have a 'see full description' button on .com and appear as 'unsecure' on all other sites. By February of 2018 all sites will have the description button versus the unsecure icon. I hope that helps clarify!

That is the thing... I don't have anything like that in my descriptions. I never had.

Have you looked at your descriptions in HTML view for anything strange. Your descriptions are very long which may not be necessary and having it in English and French takes more space and is probably not required unless you list on .ca French.
I think my message was misunderstood. I don't have any links. The links I was refering to are the links at the left of the description - they list all my store categories for a simpler search. I did not put them there, eBay did when I created my categories and added items in them.
Yes, I used eBay's tool to look for links or active content every time I listed something. There is nothing there.
As for my listings being bilingual, they were not in the past. But since I began doing this, I'm selling more stuff to Quebec buyers. So it will stay. 😉

Store categories no problem as they are not the types of links I was referring to.
Your listings are not a problem and should be fine from what everyone has said.
What myself and Tyler are referring to is the post you made referring to one that was not yours (post 9 on today's chat) and that is what we both were referring to. It has problems with the Google requirements, and any listing with a similar issue will have the same problem.

Usually it happens when people using mobile devices. On PC full description, on my cell - for item description I have to go to next page, it was like that for years.

No link or photo in the listing I was refering to either. When doing a search by item number, it doesn't come up. So here's a link (hopefully, it will work):
You will see, the description is pretty simple.

Nope, not a mobile device problem. I don't have Internet on my phone. Only use the phone in case of an emergency - only for calling. For eBay, I always use my PC at home (or work during lunchbreak).

eBay goal is to make it mobile friendly, now every listing provided with new option -" New! Mobile-friendly checker", that is probably what you experienced at some point. You can view it from regular PC.
This is now your item looks on cell phone, see attachment.

No, it is NOT mobile related. Please re-read my previous posts.

No the point is that what your customer sees on her smartphone is not what she would see on a desktop.
Nothing you did.
Doesn't matter what you did.
The bulk of the description will be moved on a smartphone when viewed by a dotCOM Searcher.

How many times will I have to write it? I was NOT looking on a smartphone when I saw this message! So this comparison is pointless...
