Ebay is continually horrendous in its "support" to sellers. I have regularly buyers who commit to buy expensive items $500-$6000 who do not pay, and NOTHING happens to THEM. However if you are a seller EBAY will leave no effort undone to attempt and encourage Buyers from destroying your reputation. EBAY FEEDBACK SYSTEM is only there to allow BUYERS to DESTROY sellers repuation! It is a sysytem that can never be fair!
Another problem with EBAY is that the Ebay checkout system DOES NOT CALCULATE TAXES PROPERLY. Here is an example. Say you list an article in 2012, the article is taxable under the tax rates set up in Seller preferences in 2012. In 2013 seller adjusts tax preferences to reflect new increased sales tax rates. Then item listed in 2012 is sold and EBAY checkout only charges OLD SALES TAX RATES. For those of you with hundreds of listings you may want to ask EBAY why this is allowed to continue.
EBAY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT SELLERS!
EBAY IS THE MOST NON SUPPORTIVE COMPANY THAT YOU WILL EVER DEAL WITH!
EBAY STORES ARE SUBJECT TO ABUSE BY BUYERS AND EBAY ITSELF!
EBAY SELLER SUPPORT CONSISTS ONLY OF EBAY APPLYING ITS "RULES" IN A WAY THAT WILL BE THE MOST HARMFUL TO SELLERS.
YOU CAN NEVER SPEAK TO A REASONABLE PERSON AT EBAY...THEY ARE ALL IMPERVIOUS TO REASON, LOGIC, and/or COMMON SENSE!
IF YOU CALL EBAY FOR HELP AS A SELLER YOU CAN COUNT ON THEM TO: (a) waste your time by making you wait on the phone for a long period and in many instances disconnect you so that you have to begin your call for support again, (b) to say NO to any request for ASSISTANCE with UNREASONABLE OR DISHONEST BUYERS, and (c) you acn be sure that they will always INTERPRET EBAY RULES IN THE MOST HARMFUL WAY TOWARDS SELLERS THAT THEY CAN THINK OF, all under the guise of "EBAY RULES"!
