I received my first 2 Neutral Feed Backs from a Buyer this week in almost 15 Years of selling so I knew I was on borrowed time.
He bought some Auctions on the Saturday before Thanksgiving weekend and I mailed them the same day. I told them that with the Holiday in Canada and the US on that Monday they would not move much on till Tuesday. Every thing he bought was Free shipping and was less than 20.00. On Tuesday I get this E-Mail from him about a Tracking Number and I told them there is no tracking on Free Shipping.
I have a few concerns, one being this, you expressed to me that when there is free shipping there is no tracking info. But let me say this, I've been dealing with sellers for quite awhile who give free shipping but there is always a track. number. These cards I purchased from you have an ETA of between 10/16 and 10/26 that is a huge variation in time difference. When I purchase something from someone I pay for it immediately, I expect people to be prompt when shipping. I've purchased a number of things from you and from the very beginning there were issues with not having the cart option and I was given a story about that, can you tell me why it's going to take so long to receive those coins? I've received things from China faster than this I think I've made a big mistake
The 2 neutral Feed backs were for Coins which he stated they were small and dirty & I told him that if you clean coins it takes away there value with no reply. The defect was for a German Death Card and he gave me Positive Feed Back and told me it was not what he expected He has 3 for items and I'm am waiting to see what happens with those. I contacted E-Bay about the Buyer but I already know what their answer It is getting to the point with the slow sales it is not worth it any more for all the work that goes in to a listing Before any body says it is part of doing business I worked retail for 37 years and thought I seen it all. |

Have you checked the feedback this buyer has left for other sellers?

Hi Pierre,
Yes I did and he has left a few Neutrals & no negatives so it is not a pattern.

So you are dealing with an unhappy buyer. It happens to all of us.
His comments about "free shipping" and tracking imply that he usually buys from American sellers. Unfortunately, he does not seem to realize that in Canada things do not work that way.
In any case, only two neutral feedbacks in fifteen years on eBay with over 34,000 transactions is outstanding. Do not let these two comments affect your selling.
Do not waste your time with that buyer. Add the name to the blocked bidder list and move on.
Good Luck.

Hi Pierre,
He was blocked after the first defect he left. He is a coin collector so I don't know why he would not know you do not clean coins to make them look pretty. After working all those years in Retail you become very thick skinned and my old boss used to say God gave you two ears so it goes in one side and comes right out the other.
