Hello devon@ebay ,
2 Urgent follow up questions regarding eIS that were not covered.
1. When will sellers that opted out early for eIS see the option to opt back in? Many did not want to test drive until the system was up and running, fully functional.
2. With an eIS order do sellers and buyers have easy access to dedicated customer service when there are any urgent questions to be asked....especially where follow up is required? From recent discussions using eBay's CS and via Facebook, there is no longer actual follow up. You are required to "keep checking" to get answers when an answer is not immediately available.
Thanks

Just as a matter of interest, I was one of those who immediately opted out of eIS, and I do have the ability to opt in/enroll and/or opt out at any time...the ability to do so is available by going to one's account>shipping preferences...

I have checked several times since opting out.(No ebay shipping options tab. Is it possible it is only visible with the app? I am on pc) I had heard that some sellers were seeing that tab. I am still leery regarding the program due to be located in western Canada.

I do not use apps/phone for eBay...am using a desktop computer...it was mentioned in another thread about checking shipping preferences, so I did and that's when/where I found that the ability to opt in/opt out was available to me even though I had already opted out back in September...

I opted out immediately also. The option to opt back in has NEVER been visible.

I opted out early, the Enrol option only showed up on my account a week ago at most.

Did you opt out AFTER getting added to the program or BEFORE? If after, you should see an option in the shipping preferences. If before, it's likely you haven't been added yet. I assume the people who immediately opted out before the program rolled out are probably at the bottom of the priority list.

I opted out before the eIS program even got put into action(I opted out Sept.1st) upon receiving the eBay message that stated"You may be enrolled in eBay International Shipping starting in October", in which there was this statement:"If you would like to opt out of the program before it launches, you can do so here.

I opted out before screen was fully loaded. Wasn't ready to be a guinea pig for something that hadn't been tested plus have never been a fan of being auto opted in or in eBay technical terms automagically enrolled. Majority of points in the attached survey/original zoom call still haven't been addressed.
Usually with opt in/opt out the option to do so either way hangs around. In this case it didn't

I opted out immediately, the option to opt-in shows in the Shipping Preferences section of Site Preferences

Is the $750 Signature Required rule affected by tariffs? The status quo has been if
Item Price + eBay Taxes Collected + Shipping Charges exceeds $750cad a signature on delivery is required.
Do these extra Import Charges affect that?
Thank you!
