Getting a bump in visibility

After selling for a couple years now it is abundantly clear that posting new listings gives a temporary boost in visibility. The numbers speak for themselves basically a majority of my sales come within a day or two when I am actively posting new listings. My question is there any other ways people have found to duplicate this? Ie. are there other ways you’ve seen to be ‘active’ with your shop without posting new listings? Changing titles and descriptions on an existing listing? Editing store? Etc…

2019: Before Covid

eBay grew to a magnormous level of listings that allowed stores with 1000's of long tail listings to slowly sell them off to appreciative buyers... Very cool.  It was true eBayism.

2020: Dawn of the "eBay Bandwagon"

The platform grew to more listings than it could possibly present to potential buyers.

2022: Business Strategy

Weed out non productive slow turning listings, capitalize on high turnovers, raise fees on longtail with PL fees.

2023: Strategy Review In Retrospect

When listing exposure  excceded capacity in 2019 instead of buring long tail seller listings in no shows or exposure fees we should have split the platform and the long time sellers remained as "eBay Classic".

To accomodate additions eBay spawns a 2nd spinoff platform for higher value or faster turning items as called "eBay Premium". Both platforms available from one site called "eBay".

All listings are active. Drake got his Jordans... Timmy got his coffee mug.... Everyone is happy.

@lotzofuniquegoodies  Have you had the same dream? Which is better,  a piece of the world's best pizza or the world's largest pizza from the Guiness book?
