Help! Ready To Abandon Ship!

First of all, let me say I hate this Managed Payments already. Had my first sale using it. So eBay sends me an e-mail saying item is sold & paid for. But I have no record of where the money is yet. PayPal always sent me the paid statement with all the information & making a label through them was easy.  Tried to print up the information from the eBay email but was that was a pain. Had to copy & paste to a document & then print it up. Then went to PayPal to try & print a label but could find nowhere to do that. Tried the dreaded Shippo link which I have never used. It confused me even more. Now I have no idea what to do. Will probably go over to Snap Ship on Canada Post site & manually put in all the information. eBay has made the whole process a nightmare & a big waste of time for me. Can anyone suggest an easier way?

@motomike_canada

I'm in total agreement. I switched to Shippo in 2016 and never looked back. Only issue I've had was the concept of a detailed invoice emails and it's a credit vs a refund for voids. Help has always been efficient. If they didn't know the answer, they looked into and got back to me. With Shippo it's connected to my Level 2 discount. I've never had any luck upgrading with PayPal. If I need a backup I just use Snap Ship. As a side..... I do miss the benefit we had previously with PayPal to easily create manual packages with PayPal but win some lose some.

  I do miss the benefit we had previously with PayPal to easily create manual packages with PayPal but win some lose some.

As you can see by previous posts  in this thread, we are able to create manual packages with Paypal again. ...unless you are referring to something different than what I am.

I would actually prefer that all fees including fvf be billed monthly. Like being able to review the fees charged for each individual item.

For Managed Payments....

When the FVF is included in the monthly invoice it is very easy to calculate and report the amount of GST/HST charged on the total of FVF plus store subscription.

If the FVF was deducted from the total of item price plus shipping cost before the money was sent to the seller's bank account ..  it was my  question with respect to how this GST/HST amount would be calculated and reported....

Just an update on my experience so far with Managed Payments. Received 4 payouts to my bank in the last week. It takes anywhere from 2-4 days to go through. And all the eBay fees are taken off first from the gross amount & then the net amount is deposited.

So we are now charged 11.5% in fees. That includes final value fees on the item & shipping. A one time fee of .30 on each transaction.  An international conversion fee.  And then taxes added on to all the fees.

Switch to Bonanza. eBay is becoming a scam. Brian Burke just talks in political double-speak to justify his and his colleagues' greed.

Was a seller on Bonanza during its best years(prior to 2016)...that site went to Hell several years ago already... It may also be noted that Bonanza was originally created those many years ago for disgruntled eBay sellers...Bonanza mimics eBay in so many ways and continues to follow in eBay's footsteps carrying on with much of the same faults as eBay &that site cares about as much for its sellers as does eBay...

plus the fact there is little to no traffic to that site...
