Every time I under measure the volume of a package - Canada Post bills me a buck or two through PayPal.

So - are they going to  reimburse me if I over measure the volume of a package?

Here is an interesting question

Lee Valley Tools sued Canada Post over this issue in 2013.

Supposedly volumetric weight was to be stopped within 2 years after this lawsuit. Never happened.

They never said that they will refund for overcharges so I doubt that they would which is odd considering that they have been sued once for that.  I wonder how often that comes up,   I doubt that I have ever paid more than I was supposed to.

The lawsuit was started in 2006 and settled in 2013.

The court ordered Canada Post to stop expressing dimensional weight in terms of units of weight.

My reading of this is that they had to change the way minimum charges for volume were referred to not stop charging that way. ie change the terminology not the practice.
