The other thing I have noticed is when you create a NEW listing you can over type an existing location and it will keep that when the auction or listing goes active ... but once an item is active you cannot update or change the location ... I tried that too and it did not appear to work ... but I created a new listing - sell similar item, and over typed the location field and listed the item and it showed the new location in that listing. So that is an option if you don't want to change any addresses under your ebay account profile.
