How to Add Stallion Express to Shipping Profile

Hello all,

I just integrated with Stallion Express. I'm set up on their site but not

sure what to do on Ebay to include then on the shipping profile.

Also, would I say that I'm using Stallion in the listing description or

somewhere else? Or no need to add that info - will the buyer see

it in the listing?

Thanks

How to Add Stallion Express to Shipping Profile

Hi!

I wish I could answer the question but Stallion isn't availble to me. I chimed in upon noticing you have over 60 items live and set to ship on Canada Post with a 1 day handling time. Should things sell you won't be able to ship them until the strike ends. You will then get dinged by eBay for late shipping and buyers won't be happy.

You have a lot of items under 200 grams that are ideal for Canada Post Expedited Lite when they go back to work. You could roll everything over to UPS as an option. Your listings are nicely done with good pictures. It would be a shame to get late shipping penalties that might lower your Seller rating. If you sell somthing you can't provide a tracking number until the strike ends and things get complicated. something to think about...

Many of us who don't choose to switch to UPS or Fedex have put our stores on "Time Away" to wait it out but I think you need a store subscription for that.

Sorry I couldn't advise you on Stallion but lots of good folks here can help!

   Best wishes. IT

Glad to help. It's important to protect that nice Seller rating!

It's safe to say we all need this strike to end as soon as possible.

Domestic shipping using eBay's discounted label pricing for Canada Post Expedited Lite would add good value to all your items with a packaged weight less than 200 grams. the maximum length of the package can be 41cm. The max volume (LxWXH) can be 3,220 cubic centimeters.

For example, to ship a book (200 grams packed) from Kelowna to Toronto costs about $8.45 with tracking and $100 insurance. Unfortunately Expedited Lite doesn't extend to USA orders. Expedited Lite is available at Canada Post outlet counters or through CP Snap Ship at a much higher cost. eBay offers it's sellers  a much better discount if purchased through them.

Most of what I sell is unique memorabilia so the buyers are more flexible with shipping costs. If I sold competitive items like printer ink the cost of shipping becomes the main problem. No one will pay $12.95 for printer ink if the shipping is $17.50. This is particularly true when selling to the USA.  Their USPS is dirt cheap compared to Canada Post.

For example most books/CDs/DVDs can be sent via USPS media mail from California to Florida for about $5.00.  The best Canada Post service available with eBay's discount is Tracked Packet USA. It would cost my Florida buyer about $10 shipping to buy the book/cd/dvd  from me.  It's not easy to sell regular "consumables" with a value under $50 to USA buyers.  For those items, even sold domestically, it's all about large volume lots, weights and package measures to fit within the cheapest trackable service.

But, if it's something they can't get from anyone else, like a pair of Jonathan Moffat's drumsticks I scooped from his kit while helping him out on Michael Jackson's  Victory Tour ... well, you know.... that's a Ka-Ching!!! Freight is a non issue.

I recommend dividing your items by consumer demand. IE Consumables, Collectibles, Modern & Vintage Clothing etc and use the shipping tactics similar category sellers use to offset shipping costs.

Ka-Ching!!!
