I have a buyer who purchased and paid for a craft book, and she wants to know if I can sent it so it arrives quicker. The only way would be expedited, but I don't know how she could send me the extra money for that.

All you need to do is create a new item, call it something like "extra shipping for PARTOFUSERNAME" they pay for it and you mark it shipped same as you would for a regular item.
I do this all the time tor extra, combined, special lots for folks, including repayments for stuff that was refunded for being INR (until it arrived of course!).

If they have purchased and paid, you can now send them your email/PayPal account for them to send the additonal shipping money. IWith all due respect to the lovely and talented ricarmic, if you create an item on eBay to make up the ship ad, you will again get hit with eBay fees. I see no reason why you need to do so....again. The PP fees should be less. Don't see this falling under the "taking transaction off eBay" broo-ha-ha.

@snoopwiz the PAYPAL solution is also a viable one. I generally have an older crowd of buyers and folks sometimes start to get nervous when being asked for PAYPAL/other ways of paying. It is much quicker (for me usually, ie a lot less conversation) and easier and "safer" in their eyes to just do it like the purchase was.
Of course yes, one loses the total fees so that should be a consideration as well, so that is a very valid point to make mention of.

Could also just cancel the transaction, relist with the faster shipping option added, and have the buyer repurchase.
