Inventory list

Is there a way to download an inventory list of my my store contents, specifically in an excel format. I'm considering opening further sales online channels.

If you just want a record of your current inventory that you can access on your own computer, you can copy and paste your eBay "selling" list into a new, blank Excel sheet, but it can end up looking a bit messy (i.e. for your own use/reference only).

Open a blank Excel sheet and minimize it.  Go to your eBay "selling" page and use the page options to include (or remove) any columns of information so the page reflects the data you'll want to keep in Excel -- for example, you probably won't need to keep "time remaining" or "watchers", or other data that's only relevant to eBay.

Once you have your eBay page set up with the columns you want to copy, click in the very top left "box" of the eBay listings table (not the header boxes), then use your mouse to position your cursor in the lower right "box" in the last row of your eBay list. Hit "SHIFT" (upper case key) and left-click at the same time -- this will highlight the entire eBay table in blue.

Minimize the eBay page, open the Excel page, position your cursor in the top left "box" of the blank Excel page, and hit "CTRL" + "v" (or use your mouse to right-click and select "Paste").  Be patient -- it will take time for the data to download.

You will doubtless need to do some tidying up if you want a nicer looking chart, but the contents will all be there.   You can delete any unnecessary columns or widen/narrow other columns or reduce font sizes to keep the chart easily readable.  (Don't forget to name and "SAVE" the Excel chart before you close it!

What you need is "file exchange" available from eBay.com

Some of those other sites let you list directly from eBay without any intermediate steps.

Since my eBay listings include some specifically eBay notes, such as a link to my Store, it makes my wonder about the common sense of the St Elsewhere sites.
