Item Return without reason

Hello everyone,

I have buyer from USA , ship to the same adress over 3 years.

I sent order last week to the same Customer, package was out for delivery on 27th , then USPS Return item to me.

There is written " NO SUCH ADRESS" , on USPS website.

I contacted buyer , checked adress- everything is correct , contacted ebay  because  I used  ebay app to ship.

I have to pay return shipping to take package back.

IF is damaged , missing pcs ...  I'll contact CP .

IF is not damaged and adress is correct  .

 I'm not  obligated charge buyer for return shipping .

Should I contact CP for that reason OR pay from my pocket and forgive ?

Last update from USPS is still Nov/02/23

Today Ebay sent me mesages

" Until the case is resolved, the case amount will be withheld from future payouts." 

I never deal with  that before and don't know anything abouth withhold  payouts .

Can someone please explain to me .

The amount you got from the buyer is being Held until the problem is solved.

So you won't get the money released until you have it back, which can take weeks, especially at this time of year, and then you make arrangements with the customers.

I would suggest, and YMMV, that when you get it back you politely inform the customer and include the refund from the released funds.

You should be aware that this is completely voluntary on your part. Personally, I would only refund the purchase price, not the shipping.

Don't worry about sales tax or import fees, those are not part of  the payment.

You might also arrange with the customer to upload a private  Fixed Price listing so that you both canstart again clean and fresh.
