Items listed on .ca not showing on .com default search

I know this has been discussed before but still can not find a solution about this. All my listings are not showing on .com. Shipping is set for USA but still items are not showing when I do search on default setting. Same thing for ebay germany or italy - items are not showing but shipping is listed for that countries.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Re: Items listed on .ca not showing on .com default search

When I switched to dotCOM and zipcode 90210, your item did show up from your See Items on your Feedback Page.

So you are noted as shipping there.

In International Shipping did you click on United States?

What Shipping Service did you choose?

Did you choose Calculated Shipping or Flat Rate?

You are shipping from Montana?   You are showing Standard International Shipping for both USA and Canada. Where are the shirts shipping from? This is the location of the shirts NOT your location. One of those locations should be domestic not international.

The usual problem is that your chosen shipping service does not match the measurements you put into Calculated.

BTW- as a new seller, you probably should only ship to Canada and the USA until you have at least 10 DSRs and know why they are unimportant.

Re: Items listed on .ca not showing on .com default search

They are probably not showing in search on .com because there is no shipping price specified for the US. It looks like you are using flat rate shipping so you'll have to enter an amount and  a generic service .  I would suggest that you use standard international shipping to the US and economy international to other countries.  Ebay doesn't give a long enough delivery time for some countries if you state that you are using standard international. I would suggest also that you limit the countries that you ship to at the beginning and that you have a shipping cost listed for them...quite a few countries are missing a shipping cost.

When you list on .com or .ca and shipping is set up properly for both, your listings will be shown on both sites.  Your listings may be shown on other sites in some cases but there is no guarantee that they will be.  There is an even less chance that they will be shown on other sites if there is no shipping cost set up.

Since you are shipping with USPS in the future you might want to consider listing on .com rather than .ca so that you can use calculated shipping for USPS. You could use calculated for the US and a flat rate for Canada and other countries.  If you do list on .com, you would consider shipping to the US as domestic and shipping everywhere else including Canada as international.

Re: Items listed on .ca not showing on .com default search

I noticed that you are charging sales tax to all provinces. If you have a gst number you can only collect in your own province and hst provinces unless you are registered with other provinces and submit the pst to them.   You should check with your accountant or Revenue Canada so that you are setting it up properly.
