I am in Canada and have many listings on eBay.ca . When i am not logged in with my eBay ID and do a search on eBay.ca for one of my listings 99% of the listings i see are shipped from China and mine don't show at all, as a matter of fact very few that are shipped from Canada show up, when i log in with one of my eBay id's i get the same result.
it seems kind of odd to me that when located in Canada and do a search the first ones to show would be the ones from Canada. I know i can do an advanced search but even then the China listings show up.
Is there some kind of discrimination going on at eBay ?

So first off yours do show up in the search when I do it. Most of the first screen or 2 on my search results are from Canada.
However, you're competing in what is probably ebay's most competitive categories. The one item I did search for was using the EXACT same listing photo as dozens of other listings, so you haven't tried to differentiate your listing in any ways (small Canadian flag, ships from Canada in listing title). Same day shipping will probably help. You may also consider promoting your listing with ebay.
Basically, your listings are getting buried because of the category you're selling in. It's up to you to get them to the top and noticed.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into that.

It's also possible your listings are being buried (if that is the case) due to that they're all in violation of the photo policy.

Fast forward to the bottom.

There are explicit rules about precisely how to watermark an ebay photo. Watermarks are not included among the prohibited parts of the photo policy unless they're done incorrectly.

I have the same problem with some of my .ca listings. Some do show up along with the other .com listings but some don't show up at all unless you use more words in the search. I have even tried sorting it by highest price first and still nothing showing in the search. Also, some are right there mixed in with all other .com listings and some are only lower down under international sellers.
What did I do wrong or why is this happening?

Your rocking horses are not showing in the US /dotCOM because you don't have shipping to the USA.
On the other hand, you have that Barbie ornament listed with Free Shipping --- to Cambodia.
I think you should take sometime to review all your shipping one by one.
Shipping outside Canada is under Shipping Details-> International Shipping->
Choose Calculated Shipping from the dropdown->
Choose Custom Location->
Choose from the menu-> USA->
Choose Custom Location again->
Choose the specific countries you are willing to ship to->
Do NOT choose North and South America, it will overide your USA shipping
You can make several different shipping prices for different countries, but using Calculated Shipping is easier.
Choose-> Additional Ship To Locations
Choose-> either Worldwide which will give you Cambodia etc or Canada and the specific locations you chose above (recommended)
If you chose Calculated enter the dimensions and weight.

Are you using the default Simplified Sell Your Item Form?
Are you listing from a phone?
Switch to the Advanced Form (upper right of Simpleminded form) for more control.
Do view your completed listings on a mobile. You will be surprised at what does and does not show up.

Thank you very much for your help. It is much appreciated.

Hmmm. I am checking my listings and my Barbie with free shipping says Free shipping Canada to USA tracked packet.
All my barbies have Canada to USA tracked packet. So I can't find the Cambodia listed anywhere.
Yes, I will go through them all one by one because I also found one that had a best offer and somehow the box of Automatically reject offers lower than $X was checked and some weird number was put in. I don't automatically reject offers on any.
Also, can you explain why some listings are mixed in with the others and some are at the end under international sellers?

Click on Shipping-> Change Country is a drop down menu.
When I open the menu, a list of , well, basically, every country in the world appears.
I chose Cambodia because it was unlikely to be a place you would actively choose. And it shows Free Shipping.
Benin, on the other hand, which is next door to Nigeria more or less (I used to work with a girl from Benin) shows Ask Seller for Shipping Quote.
And I'm seeing Canada as Expedited Parcel. There is no Tracked Parcel within Canada. But all parcels are tracked.

Did you find the Advanced form?

A few comments...
All of your listings show worldwide shipping although the listings I looked at did not show a price for shipping overseas. I really do recommend that you ship only to the US and Canada at first..especially for your expensive items. I've been selling here for a long time and would still be uncomfortable selling some of your more expensive items overseas. One big problem is that not all countries have an option to get a signature when the package is delivered by a mail service and both Paypal and eBay require that an item over $850 must have a signature in order for the seller to be protected if an item not received claim is filed. (Note: for your items that are over that amount, you must use xpresspost to the US as Tracked packet does not have a signature option)
If you really want to sell overseas, you might want to limit the countries that you ship to at first and only ship outside of North America if the item under a certain amount..for example $100. Perhaps start out by shipping to the UK, Japan, Australia and maybe a few of the western European countries. You must show a shipping cost to those countries so that buyers are aware of the shipping cost before they make a purchase. So rather than state that you ship 'worldwide' just check off the countries that you do ship to.
When you are filling out your sell your item form the top shipping section would be Canada - domestic shipping
The first international section would be for the US. Once that is filled out, click on offer another service and then choose custom locations. I think that you have to use the advanced form to do that.
You should also block countries that you don't ship to. To do that, go to account/site preferences/buyer requirements/edit. Check off block buyers with a primary shipping address in a country I don't ship to. Then, unless you specify that you ship to Brazil, buyers who want you to ship to their country won't be able to make a purchase. It makes life much easier.
