I will explain for the Ebay supporters

I have been at my present address for over 9 years.

All my listings have been created since I have been here and use the current address I have.

Item locations are showing on listings just sold recently with my old address from 9+ years ago which has not been used for that long or for any listings.

Do the respondents now understand that Ebay contiues to mess up stuff for no reason

Does seem like a bug, glitch, or what ever else I call it

I remember that happening a few years ago only in reverse.  The shipping address for an item I sold displayed an address that the buyer had changed years before.  He said he had successfully purchased many items since the address was changed on his account.  It just suddenly reverted to his old address.

I can't remember now how we came to realize that the wrong address was displayed.  Fortunately the buyer was annoyed with eBay but sympathetic with me and it worked out okay.  I remember that others were experiencing the same glitch occasionally at that time.

I had that happen a year ago, fella writes and asks if he can do a pick-up seeing as he lives just a few clicks away in Winnipeg. I was confused because I had moved to Belleville and those parts I had acquired in Belleville, and listed there.

A year ago, my address with Canada Post reverted back to my previous one. It took a couple months to sort out.

This happens to us as well but just with the postal code. Fortunately we are still in the same city. We gave up on trying to fix it over a year ago. There is no solution.
