I am new to the Ebay selling. Anyone have some good links to read for someone just starting out. I live in Canada so I am looking for something from a Canadian perspective.
Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

There are lots of books (eBay for dummies series is extensive)
"Starting An Ebay Business For Canadians For Dummies" is a good place to start

The "Dummies" books are a good place to get a solid foundation, but bear in mind that many of those books will be out of date even before they're in print. EBay has gone through some major, massive policy shifts and changes in the last year or two that will not be reflected in those books unless they were revised, updated and reprinted within the past few months. Still, it's a great place to start, to give you an overview of the process and to get familiar with the eBay jargon.
Also, as the previous poster mentioned, I would highly recommend you start only with the "Dummies" book(s) intended for Canadian eBay sellers. There are a lot of differences between eBay.ca and eBay.com.
I'd suggest that once you've read through one of these books to get a good grounding in selling, that you skim through the Seller Information Centre and the Selling Tools section under the eBay.ca "Sell" heading (top of any page). This information is mostly up to date, but not always completely current. Sellers frequently find parts of the site that need to be updated, and we bring those to the attention of the eBay.ca staffers.
I would also recommend you browse this Canadian Seller discussion board from time to time to stay up to date with current changes and to see how other sellers are dealing with issues. Often you'll find that doing so will prevent you from making mistakes, or give you information on how to handle a particular problem if it arises. Remember that there is often a wide spectrum of opinion on any given subject -- not every answer is the right one. Usually though there is a consensus amongst the more experienced sellers that you can get by reading the whole thread.
Lastly, I'd say it's a good idea to check the "Announcements" page (under "Community") from time to time, or subscribe to receive notification as announcements are made. Oh yes, and don't forget that the "Spring Seller Update" will be coming along soon -- there are usually major changes at that time, but eBay does give sellers plenty of warning, and there is usually a lot of discussion over them on these boards.
Best of luck, and I also want to say kudos to you for doing the preparation work before you begin selling! That's the smart thing to do, and you'll have a much better chance of success. We see so many sellers who come to these boards after they've got themselves into difficulty as a result of lack of knowledge about eBay. That's largely because this site isn't what it was years ago, and eBay now expects their sellers to act like professional business people, not garage-sale sellers.
