No more problem....
If one does not sign out... one can get back on eBay without having to log on formally by entering a password

This probably occurred when I cleaned out my computer and most likely removed an old eBay cookie....
and... then eBay added a new cookie to my computer.
The sign out option is at the upper left corner of the My eBay page... just above the ....ebay ... colored logo...... where it says Hi and my first name... click on this ... Hi First name ! ... spot and click on sign out.
Only if one signs out, will one have to sign onto eBay With a Password.
Called eBay and confirmed this situation

Sounds rather interesting to do this... that is ... Do Not sign out...
But... what if someone gets onto your computer..... and can access your eBay account, without having to use a password....
The best thing to do is sign out when you are finished on eBay... and may leave your computer on... for some time.
For me it will always be... Sign Out

Chrome has an option to save passwords. Other browsers may as well. Personally I think best practice is to use an offline enabled password manager and just copy/paste as needed.

I am not ready to have all of my passwords at one location on the internet.
I would call such a collection Hacker Heaven.
My passwords are on one page in my ... Record of eBay Sales book.
There have been too many recent reports of businesses being hacked, and massive amounts of information disappearing
Hackers are getting better and better at what they do.... Rather be vigilant than worried about my passwords stored somewhere on the internet.

I prefer a local password manager like KeePass. Just back up every once in awhile or print out the list of your passwords and store in a safe.
