PayPal e-Mail - Let's Get Shipping

I received an e-mail this morning from PayPal (a legitimate one) which says in part:

Congratulations on the sale you just made.

Are you ready to ship? Use our new, integrated shipping tool to pay for your shipment, print your shipping label, request parcel pickup and automatically track your package, all within your PayPal account.

I didn't think this was anything new since I usually ship through PayPal; however, it requests that I link my PayPal account with my Canada Post Solutions for Small Business Account for up to a 47% discount.  Again, I thought I had always been linked but I've never seen discounts like that.  I googled "How do I link my PayPal account ........Canada Post" and saw instructions which I don't currently see on my PayPal account.  This might be nothing or it might mean that I'm not getting the discount I should be getting.  It's  maybe 10% at best.

Is there something I don't know 🙂  Thanks.

Honestly, this whole business of e-mail addresses drives me absolutely crazy.  The ends that eBay goes to to ensure that buyer's e-mail addresses are not readily available is so ridiculous, there are no words.

How many sellers are in the habit of contacting buyers outside of eBay to sell items without paying fees?  No doubt there are a few.  So that means all sellers have to be inconvenienced as a result.  It's especially annoying when a message to a buyer is rejected even when there is no e-mail address involved .... only something that resembles one.

This issue has just got me fuming tonight for some reason, as is evident.  Lol

never have need for an email address, 90% of my items are sent letter rate or small packet, have lower value and present no concerns.
