I bought some items on eBay and tried to " pay now". I don't get transferred to PayPal. Have tried many times since last night but can't get on to PayPal site. Is anyone else having problems?

I have have been having problems for the last 3 weeks, I am unable to log in to paypal from any links I have tried, thinking the link I had was at fault I went through different browsers still no, then out of trying numerous times a day to log in all of a sudden I'm in then when I come back again wam back to the page just hanging.

Even links to there help desk are hit and miss and when I did explain the problems I was having they sent me a list of links, had I forgot password had I forgot email, nothing at all mentioned about the problems I was having.

I emailed a reply today letting them know that they had not listened to a word I had said !!!!

Wish I had never even heard of Paypal, only got an account so my hubby could buy on Ebay

Thanks but I clear my cache every time I log off, the computer is shut down each day and rebooted next morning, this has been going on for some 3 weeks, would you believe it I just tried for the 100th time today and got in, I bet if I tried in an hour the page would just hang there.

I have absolutely no problems with banks or any other important web sites its just paypal, fine when we opened the account about 2 months ago but now Grrrrr, thanks anyway appreciated.

The problem is NOT, repeat NOT with PayPal.  Otherwise nobody would access the system.

Try using a different browser such as MS-Explorer or Firefox.

thetarn......A year or so I had the a similar problem. I would sign in and the icon would just spin and spin. The only way I could get in was to click on the area that says something like 'if the page does not connect within 5 seconds click here'

Anyway....I asked Paypal about it and they seemed to think that it was a Java problem. Once I updated java everything worked fine so if you haven't updated it lately, you might want to try that.
