Paypal confirmation emails not coming through

For the second time in a few days, I have sold an item, and then found later that the buyer has paid, but no confirmation from Paypal. Item sold around 7 p.m. last night, still no confirmation of payment. I only found out when I clicked on the send an invoice tab.

Thought I would give a heads-up in case it is happening to others, so you can check your Paypal account and see if the payment has been made.

Paypal email is sometimes slow....  Payment shows in My eBay, but no email from Paypal... slow...

Sometimes  the Paypal email comes through before eBay's email indicating a sale has occurred.

Anything is possible....

It happened from time to time.  I always check my "sold" inventory and see the icon as being paid and then I go to my personal email to print the PayPal account (sometimes not there).  I like to print the PayPal inovice, that way I can make notes of HS, weight, when shipped, when informed, etc. and save them for 3 months after everything is fine, then shred them.

Save the data for 6 full years plus the current year.... as per Canada Revenue Agency requirements.

Then shred them....

At the end of 2013... shred everything for 2007 and earlier....  then shred 2008  at the end of 2014....

Absolutely correct.

If audited, CRA does require all information for the last six years.
