Hi all,
Has anyone else received the pop-up that says "Unable to load due to system error. Please close the page and try again." when trying to print or download a packing slip?
For the past three days, whenever I go to an order and select the "Print packing slip and more" button, I keep receving this error:
This error keeps occurring regardless of what internet browser or internet connection I use. I've tried closing the tab, signing out of eBay, and restarting my computer but nothing has fixed it.
Is there anyone else experiecing this issue or know a solution? Like most eBay members, I'm starting to get really frustrated with these persistent glitches, espeicially with how much money I pay for the eBay store subscription and in selling fees each month.
Thanks in advance!

No I've never had that problem. Are you trying to print yours slip from sellers hub or someplace else? Are you having problems printing anything else?

I'm trying to print them directly from the Seller Hub on my MacBook. Unfortunately I don't have any other computers I can try, and the mobile version of eBay doesn't have the "Print packing slip and more" button.

Have you tried going to your printer mfg homepage to see if there is a new available driver? If there isn't you can try deleting and re-installing the driver. That has been known to help others in the past. Just tested in Chrome on a PC and no issues for me.

Hi Lotz,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I don't actually print the packing slips, I only send them as a screenshot in messages to buyers (saves on paper). I don't have a printer conected to my computer and never have, so I don't think it's anything like that. My best guess is it's an actual eBay problem.

I didn't have any problems last night, but some things you can try:
1) Open eBay in a private window. This should get a clean copy of the latest code. If it works with this, clearing your cache and cookies in a normal window may fix your problem (it will clear preferences, logins, etc for all your sites though, which can be a pain)
2) Do a hard refresh (ALT+F5).
3) Make sure you aren't running any weird addons on the eBay site, particularly stuff that changes the screen or aides in activities (like Grammarly or ad blockers)

Rather than screenshotting them, there are other ways. You can save it as a PDF and open it in a program like GIMP (free), then export it to JPEG. Paint dot net (free on the website or paid on the Microsoft Store) will also open it if you also install the PDF plugin. I think if you have a paid version of Acrobat you can save as JPEG. If you have Photoshop / Photoshop Elements you can open as a PDF and save as a JPEG also. All these options are also handy if you need to send a Canada Post shipping label.

Have your tried clicking on the order number and then try the print from that page?
I just tried it on .ca and .com and am getting the slip from both the page you are trying and from the order page. I am on a windows PC.

I've always printed a hard copy to include. Works as a customs backup and "if" it is for a business they have something they can receive to stock with for inventory purposes. I have had random issues with printing in the past. Tend to agree. It is most likely something on the eBay side that is blocking giving a screen display. Packing slips have never really been high on eBay's priority list. Best of luck with finding a solution.

Chitchats rule is if the value is over $300 to tape it to the outside of the box as that is a value that increases the chance of customs taking an interest. I put one inside and taped to a bag on the outside with a "packing slip" label on it.
.. just a bit of a tangent!

It appears ebay has recently broken a few things on the packing slip page. Attempted to update the address by capitalizing text and got the message below. When I tried again, it did the same thing. Sadly way too much tinkering for no gain/damage to previously working tools.
We are still seeing error messages regarding girth (dimensions) which should not apply to USA/Intl for small packet air and Tracked. This was pointed out to eBay several months ago for correction.
