Recent bump to listing limits

Did everyone or just some recently  automagically get rewarded with a bump to listing limits?

2,999listed and sold / 5M limit on quantity of items

C $4.9M more

My previous limit was 6000. For smiles and chuckles I applied for a bump a few months ago. Was rejected almost instantaneously. 

5 M? Now need to figure where to access, sort and store them??? 🤣 Possibly they are in lieu of the MIA supplies coupon? Hmmm... Who does eBay think we are? Walmart? Costco? Home Depot?

Got an email/eBay message and in Seller Hub states:

392 listed and sold / 5M limit on quantity of items

C $5M more

But I totally ignore, as at most I wouldn't/couldn't list more than 1000 items, as I am downsizing/donating locally and could care less what quantity I can or cannot list on eBay...

BTW, have the same in Seller Hub on .COM

Maybe eBay wants all Canadian sellers to move up to the Anchor store to make up for  the ghostly like shipping supply coupon? As it is my current Basic Store 19.95 takes a major chunk out of monthly sales!!! 299.95 per month???? 😩

with eBay, "the possibilities" are endless...

I don't have an eBay store, don't ever intend to have one and I don't need eBay shipping supply coupons, so all is meaningless for me.

However, higher volume sellers may be able to take advantage of whatever eBay throws out there...

Time to create more revenue for Ebay and bring them back to number 1.

That is what has been happening for ages. Larger sellers are taking advantage of new features. Smaller sellers are being left in the dust. Will all the current listings out there it is no wonder for your average seller listings have become next to impossible to find so major drops in sales because of it all!!!

What would have been more appreciated  instead of these ongoing kerfuffle,  a note to affected sellers stating due some confusion the supply coupons will be late. We are working on a solution/clarification as quickly as possible....Ummmm like 3 weeks ago!!!!
