Return option deprecated?

I am getting this message every time I try to relist. Deprecated is not a word I use every day! I looked it up and it is "disapproved".

Apparently my return policy on my listings doesn't include International returns, and rather than have to change each one, I need to find the option where I can set it for all my listings. There is a return option  I found, but it is not one that has the return international option  that I need.

Return international policy? Is that a thing? Are you listing on eBay.ca or eBay.com right now? I’m wondering if this is a glitch or bug.

I believe dotcom has changed its requirements but I don’t think dotca has... yet.

Or maybe they’re doing backend work on compliance programming and you got caught in it.

I am listing on .com, I need to change the 12 I have on .ca over. There is a place on the listing form that is for Domestic returns accepted and International returns accepted. I guess eBay has decided that all items should come under the return policy, I do that anyway.

I believe that on .com you can have separate return rules for domestic and international sales. I wonder if it messes things up when listing on .com from .ca? I list on .com too but I always list using turbo Lister and that has not yet updated to the new returns rules.

Thanks, maybe that is the case. I am finding that when I open my .com store, all the shipping is showing in Canadian dollars. The two seem to have gone to a strange combination. I am in the process of converting a few listings I have on .ca to .com and hope it will solve that problem.

I have always done returns for International.  Because of listing on .com, Canada counts as International.

I've been waiting for some change to fatally break turbolister. Maybe this is it for listing on.com from turbolister ??

As others have said now we can set up different international and domestic returns on .com. That is because of the free returns they are promoting on .com now. So a person could choose to have different combinations...for example.....30 day free returns for domestic and 30 day returns for international...buyers pays return shipping.

When I look at my store and your store on .ca, it shows all listings in $C. When I look at both stores on .com, it shows all listings in $US.  I have listings on both sites as well.

Have they updated turbo lister at all since they announced that they were phasing it out? If not...then its likely that the new return set won't be available on turbo.

Yes, there have been updates, almost every day lately. Not sure if they will be doing an update for the return policy. I asked, but no definite answer.

It doesn't matter... either have no returns or accept returns from everywhere.

If someone wants to return an item internationally they will and your no returns on international shipments isn't going to help you.

Choose one or the other but know that eBay will override your no returns policy.

I've known for quite awhile there is at least one more recently released version than my current one.

I'm currently using version 9.922.101.0 which was released just prior to the https compliance change. So far, this version has worked perfectly for my needs, I use a https compliant description template with it.

Maybe I'll need to try and download the more recent version now because of the return policy changes. Hate to fool with it unless it's absolutely necessary ... one never knows for sure how updates will turn out.

What version are you using?  What sort of updates have you been receiving?

The Spring 2018 update stated the return policy changes would occur in May 2018, which they have on .com. They did not provide a specific day nor did they really provide anything new in the just released Summer 2018 update. If they were going to update turbolister you'd think it would have happened before now.
