Seller's Protection is a joke

sold item June 9th, first Ebay says there is a hold on payouts because the buyer must receive item and post positive feedback, done and done. Now there is a hold because buyer says item was not received. Case closed in my favor, showing item delivered to supplied address. Now there is a hold on my funds because then Ebay references their policies, because they cannot give me a straight answer to why they intend to hold my funds until July 11th a full 32 days after purchase was made. Now they dont do call backs to my number and leave chat with me..... They took (IMMEDIATLEY) 1/5 of the purchase price to do what? hold my money...for no other reason than to settle some vendetta they are holding

The answer AND the reason is obvious>>>You sold a $500+ laptop!! AND for that eBay will indeed hold your funds; most likely for at least 30 days.

IF you want to be a successful seller on eBay,  you MUST possess this thing called "P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E"!!

Your fees are based on the selling price + the shipping fee**+ the sales tax your buyer paid*+ any options *** you may have chosen to use.

While they are rarely more than 15% of the total payment, it is wise to allow that 20% of the selling price alone may go to fees.

BTW- You did a good job in handling the attempted scam Claim. Many new sellers of high value goods don't understand how to win a Claim. Congratulations and keep learning and selling.

I did everything as soon as heavenly possible to do, post ad, sent parcel. Still I will wait 32 days for this criminals to release my money for no other reason than they can. I wouldnt sell nail clippers thru this criminals again. You took your money as soon as the payment was processed yet I have to wait 32 days. Fair is fair and in no way has Ebay treated me fairly. I asked about interest being paid on my money, they ignored the question. Yet they pointed out they do not collect interest on money....What a load of .... well Ebay everyone will know because I will continue to chronical this ......experience ..... EVERYWHERE.... you may be able to hold my money but I guarantee I will reach at least 1 other person and save them from your.....education on who NOT to do business with. Also Ebay I am waiting on CBC's Marketplace to return my call. They assure me it will be within 24hours. Remember Ebay I have collected transcripts and screenshots to ALL your LIES to me. Best of luck in future screwing of the little guy

Perhaps it would have been in your best interests to know HOW to be a seller BEFORE engaging  in listing high value item.Your impatience/lack of knowledge is NOT eBay's fault...this is on you and your lack of education/lack of experience/lack of patience/lack of knowledge about the eBay site. Time to take some responsibility for YOUR actions/YOUR lack of knowledge & YOUR lack of experience. Seller ignorance has no place on ANY selling site.. Payment holds ARE NOT unique to eBay. This is common practice on most selling sites these days... Knowledge is your friend and any attempt at drawing attention to YOUR ignorance on CBC Marketplace will make you out to be nothing but a big FOOL and that my friend makes you the joke and is the makings for a good laugh from the rest of the knowledgable ecommerce world.

The feeling of "entitlement"/lack of knowledge/lack of experience/lack of responsiblity for one's own actions /lack of patience shows...and when you choose your own response as a "solution" to your forum thread well there is nothing more to be said....
