You can't send an invoice like that.  You could do one listing with everything in it and then let him know the item number.  I would title it with something like custom listing for xx only.   If you want to make sure that no one else purchases it, you could set it up with an offer option and then accept the offer once he makes it.

There are supposed to be those who Search for 'Private Listing'  or "Custom Listing"  figuring there would be good deals to scoop up. Seems like a lot of work.

I wonder why they do not want to use the cart?  Is it becaue shipping will not be combined if immediate payment is required?  You can tell them that you will refund any excess shipping amounts.

Anyway, if they really want the 10 together in one lot, I would do a listing exclusive for them.   I get specific requests for audio parts and have used exclusive listings at times.   I do not put a lot of work into them as the person is ready to buy and we have agreed on a price already, so just enough description and a photo(s) I already have.  I only make it a fixed price listing with immediate payment required - I will not waste time for someone who wants to drag payment.  In total I did about a dozen last year without a hitch.   Those were folks looking for audio and turntable part they needed so the buyers were serious.

The title is generic, Exclusive for <buyer ID>, and in the description list what is being purchased.   I also put in the description the listing is exclusive for <buyer ID> and any other buyer will be cancelled.   That does a bit of a defect risk if a clown does buy it and you need to cancel but I have not had a problem.

Once the listing is created, I message them the full link through ebay messaging.

Good luck, I hope it is a bunch of $50+ cards!

thats funny, the way I read this he seems to be saying he wants you to sell them to him offline <wink> <wink> lol.   He may want you to do a custom listing, but that depends on how bad you want to make a sale to waste your time for someone who has some strange and neurotic personal idiosyncracy for wanting to create work for you.

this dude sounds like he could be a cousin to the fellow who told me he wanted to cancel a purchase because there was a problem with his bank card (there wasnt as far as I could tell, I got paid) and then once I relisted it he offered to buy it again, at a lower price.

Unless you're feeling generous and these cards are $$$$$, personally I wouldnt waste my time accomodating a weird request like this.

Just an add on as this is essentially what I do....make a custom listing including all the items.

I use "custom order 2022-03-10", I don't use the buyers name because it will show up in feedback.

I make it a "private" listing so that it's more difficult for the curious to get access to the listing page from feedback.

I don't worry at all about somebody else buying, mainly because who would want the exact same things, the listing won't be available in search for at least a couple of hours and finally, if it sold it sold, you snooze you lose, the buyer needs to respond to the link with some urgency (and before they change their mind and never click the buy button).

After May 1  you can always fall back on the "buy them all and I'll refund the shipping discount" because at that point eBay will start refunding fees on partial refunds. That is a reasonable method unless the buyer is foreign and currency exchange is in play (for the buyer).
